Citrix Workspace App for macOS - Native support for Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 and M2 Series)
Release Date: Apr 11, 2024
Citrix Workspace app for macOS overview
High performance web and self-services access to virtual apps and desktops. Configure for anywhere access from your desktop or web access with Safari, Chrome or Firefox.
Citrix Workspace app for macOS now natively supports Macs with Apple silicon (M1 and M2 chip) by way of a universal architecture. With the universal architecture, the Workspace app runs natively on both Apple silicon and Intel-based Mac computers without Rosetta emulation. This build runs natively on Macs with Apple silicon and it must be installed and tested on Macs using M1 and M2 chips.
Note: Citrix continues to support Intel-based Macs that use the Rosetta 2 dynamic binary translator. However, Citrix will soon deprecate the Citrix Workspace app for Mac that uses Rosetta emulation. Keep a look out for an announcement about the deprecation.
See Product Documentation for the complete list of features.
